Central Australian Flowers by Nigel Campbell

The flowers that bloom in Central Australia are a photographer's delight. In this book I have pictures that show the colours and how they are seen against the often opposite colours of other nearby flowers, the orange of the ground and the deep blue sky.

These pictures were taken on the country surrounding Alice Springs and on trips to Uluu and Standley Chasm.

During a good Spring following a season of plentiful rain the desert is transformed and I hope this selection can give people an idea of what to expect if they visit.
