This companion guide to Central Australian Flora - Forbs and Small Shrubs introduces many native plant species occuring in central Australia. It is obviously impossible to include all the flora you will encounter in this area. Where features in a particular genus are similar, we have only included one or two species. We anticipate that the keen observer will research further among the books and websites available to accurately identify what they find.
